South Dakota is moving $8.2 million from its unclaimed property fund to pay for replacing the Richmond Lake dam and spillway. The appropriation increased from $101 to $8,212,497 for Richmond Lake dam and spillway replacement, and the bill moved from House Appropriations to Conference Committee with a different sponsor.
The amendment removed the "Conference Committee Engrossed" notice indicating the bill was extensively amended and may no longer reflect the sponsor's original intention.
