70:01:02:06 - Brookings County speed zone rule

70:01:02:06 – The speed limits are being changed on U.S. Highway 14 east of the Interstate Highway 29 interchange in Brookings. A 35 mph speed zone will be extended an additional 0.42 mile and then the speed limit will transition to 50 mph for 0.20 mile. These speed limit adjustments are better suited to the roadway geometrics resulting from highway reconstruction.
