Implements the provisions of Senate Bills 63 and 64 from the 2024 legislative session to reflect the transfer of regulation of emergency medical responders (EMRs) and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) from the Department of Health to the Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. Repeals language in ARSD 44:05 related to the regulation of EMRs and EMTs and updates language related to ambulance services. Establishes a process for ambulance services to request a hardship exemption for the medical director requirement and establishes quality assurance standards for advanced life support ambulance services.
