Article 67:12 is primarily related to the former AFDC program and also includes the Repatriate program and Unemployed Parent Program (UPP). In July 1997, a large portion of the Aid to Families With Dependent Children program (AFDC) was replaced by Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).
