The commissioner shall make available the following application form for completion by persons exploring or excavating for paleontological resources: SOUTH DAKOTA FOSSIL PERMIT APPLICATION This application is for a permit that will entitle the person named on the permit to collect, for a period of one (1) year, fossils on land owned or leased by the State of South Dakota. The permittee shall abide by all of the provisions contained in SDCL chapters 1-19A, 1-20, and 5-1 and ARSD chapter 4:01:09.
