Milk in farm bulk tanks must be cooled to forty-five degrees Fahrenheit or lower within two hours after milking. The blend temperature after the first milking and subsequent milkings may not exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Each bulk tank must be equipped with a thermometer that is in good working condition. The cooling and storing of milk in cans or other containers is prohibited.
