Terms defined in SDCL 54-13-1 have the same meaning in this chapter. In addition, terms used in this chapter mean: (1) "Director," the director of mediation services or their designee; (2) "Mediation release," a document issued by the director to the party who files a request for mediation stating that the mediation conditions of SDCL 54-13 have been met.
