for suspension of license. The commissioner may suspend a license for cause, including: (1) Failure to maintain records as required by this article; (2) Failure to allow or provide for access for the commissioner to the licensee's verifiable address or records that does not rise to the level of refusal; (3) Implementation of material or repeated changes to the processor procedures manual without prior written approval from the commissioner; (4) Failure to comply with applicable federal, state, or local law; (5) Failure of more than one tenderness or marbling test during a twelve month period, for which correction actions have not been implemented to the reasonable satisfaction of the commissioner; (6) Failure to pay fees or correction action costs when due; (7) Any other violations of SDCL chapter 1-53, this article, or the license agreement; or (8) The commissioner is presented with credible evidence that the licensee did not meet the eligibility requirements set forth in this chapter at the time the license was issued.
