extension of continuing education requirements. The director may grant an extension of time to complete the requirements imposed by SDCL 58-30-116 and § 20:06:18:03. This extension shall be granted only when the licensee can show good cause for the extension. "Good cause" includes disability, death, natural disaster, or other extenuating circumstances. Each request for a time extension shall be in writing from the licensee and shall include details to support the request. Each request must be received by the director not less than 21 days before the expiration of the two year period or the expiration of the time extension period.
