organization decision and notice for experimental or investigational treatment reviews. Except as provided in § 20:06:53:49, within 20 days after the date it receives the opinion of each clinical reviewer pursuant to § 20:06:53:47, the assigned independent review organization, in accordance with § 20:06:53:50, shall make a decision and provide written notice of the decision to the covered person, the covered person's authorized representative, the health carrier, and the director.
