If a group health plan or health insurance issuer seeks an exemption under §§ 20:06:58:34 to 20:06:58:43, inclusive, determinations under § 20:06:58:36 may only be made after such plan or coverage has complied with §§ 20:06:58:01 to 20:06:58:45, inclusive, for at least the first six months of the plan year involved.
