The chair shall: (1) Preside at all meetings; (2) Appoint any committees authorized by the board; (3) Sign all certificates of licensure and other official documents; (4) Perform all duties usually pertaining to the office of the chair. The vice chair, or any other member designated by the board, shall perform the duties of the chair in the absence or incapacity of the chair.
