declaration of incompetence or involuntary commitment. If a person licensed or certified by this board has been judicially declared incompetent or involuntarily committed to a mental hospital or treatment center, the board, upon proof of the fact, shall enter an order either placing the person on inactive status or suspending the person from the practice of chiropractic, chiropractic radiography, or chiropratic assistant for an indefinite period until further order of the board. A copy of the order must be served upon the person, the person's guardian, and the director of the mental hospital by certified mail, return receipt requested.
