20:41:10:09Board hearings -- Procedure.

Those portions of the rules of practice in trial courts of record and those portions of SDCL 15 and 1-26 that are consistent with SDCL 36-5 or this article apply to the procedure for hearings held by the board. A record of the hearing in a contested case shall be taken by court reporter or recording equipment. If a transcript is requested, the board may require the person requesting it to pay the reasonable cost of preparing the transcript.
