The following equipment and procedures are prohibited: (1) Knives and straight razors; (2) Razor-type callus shavers, credo blades, rasps, graters, and any other implements used to remove corns or calluses capable of cutting below the stratum corneum layer of the skin; (3) Dermabrasion procedures and ultrasound equipment; and (4) UV sterilizers and light boxes used as infection control devices.
