for permits for single-family dwelling units under an Owner's Exemption. A permit for wiring a person's residence may only be issued if: (1) The applicant has not applied for a permit under the Owner's Exemption in the last three years; (2) The applicant occupies or intends to occupy the residence as his or her personal dwelling unit; (3) The applicant does not rent or lease any part of the residence; and (4) The applicant or applicant's spouse are the only persons performing the wiring. A permit utilized in violation of this section will receive a final subject or final void.
