Custody and disposition of records of closed programs must be maintained in one of the following ways: (1) If the governing institution continues to function, it shall assume responsibility for the records of the students and the graduates. The institution shall advise the board of the arrangements made to safeguard the records; or (2) If the governing institution ceases to exist, the institution shall transfer the academic transcript of each student and graduate to the board office for safe keeping. The institution shall consult the board about the disposition of all other records.
