20:48:16:08Certified nurse aide registration -- Competency assessment program.

An applicant, as a requirement for registration as a certified nurse aide, shall pass a board-approved competency assessment program consisting of a knowledge exam, administered by a testing agency in accordance with § 20:48:16:09, and a skills evaluation, administered by a board-approved nurse aide training program, in accordance with §§ 20:48:16:10 and 20:48:16:11. The competency assessment must measure the applicant's knowledge, skills, and abilities on the content listed in § 20:48:18:09.
