20:48:18:12Certified nurse aide training program -- Reinstatement of approval.

A person or institution whose training program is withdrawn, pursuant to § 20:48:18:11, may apply to reinstate approval. The board may conduct a site visit to determine compliance with the requirements in §§ 20:48:18:02 to 20:48:18:09, inclusive, and may only reinstate the training program's approval if the requirements are met. A training program whose approval is withdrawn pursuant to subdivision 20:48:18:11(3) must submit an action plan to the board outlining measures to improve student performance on the certified nurse aide competency assessment program's knowledge exam. A training program whose approval is withdrawn pursuant to subdivision 20:48:18:11(4) or (5) must submit notification from the South Dakota Department of Health of authorization to conduct a nurse aide training program in the nursing facility.
