salesperson licensed in South Dakota -- Time to qualify for broker associate license upon establishing residency in state. A nonresident salesperson licensed in this state, who establishes residency in South Dakota, shall complete the requirements for a broker associate license pursuant to SDCL 36-21A-34.2 and § 20:69:04:03 by the end of the current license term or place the license on inactive status. The commission may grant a reasonable exception to this rule.
