20:69:13:08Grounds for denial

The commission may deny an application for a license or a renewal of a license on any of the following grounds: (1) The applicant has previously been convicted of a felony or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude; (2) The applicant has failed the examination prescribed by the commission; (3) The applicant has written insufficient funds checks for application or renewal fees; (4) The applicant has been disciplined for unprofessional conduct by any regulatory agency anywhere within the United States in relation to the applicant's activities as a real estate salesperson or broker or as a time-share agent or broker or similar licensee; (5) Misstatements, intentional omissions, misrepresentations, or untruths in any application, registration statement, or renewal application.
