20:80:13:05Addiction counselor status upgrade requirements.

The board may upgrade the status of a certified addiction counselor to a licensed addiction counselor if the certified addiction counselor submits to the board the following: (1) A completed application; (2) The applicable application fee; (3) The applicable license fee; and (4) An official educational transcript from an approved educational program recognized by the board which indicates the certified addiction counselor meets the educational requirements for a licensed addiction counselor, as set forth in § 20:80:15:10. A certified addiction counselor must be in good standing with the board to request an upgraded status.
