20:80:17:01Examination required.

To obtain a licensure or certification, an applicant for licensure or certification must pass an examination as prescribed by this chapter. An applicant may apply to the testing organization for the examination or apply to the board with the required examination fee to arrange the examination. The board shall notify applicants in writing of the examination date, time, and place, if applicable. An applicant needing special accommodations for the examination shall submit to the board a request for the accommodation, accompanied by a health care provider's documentation for the accommodation, with the application for examination.
