for qualified special education teachers -- Teaching multiple subjects. For any special education teacher, who teaches two or more core academic subjects exclusively to children with disabilities, being qualified means that the teacher may either: (1) Meet the applicable requirements of the ESSA; or (2) Meet the applicable certification requirements of ARSD 24:28.
