Once the request for funds is approved, the state director of special education and the Office of Finance and Management shall notify a local education agency, in writing, of the following: (1) The amount of the grant; (2) The period during which the local education agency may obligate funds; and (3) The federal requirements that apply to the grant under article 24:05.
