nonprofit entities. For the purposes of this chapter, a private, nonprofit entity is one that provides specialized career and technical services and education as referenced in SDCL 13-13-89. Priority for grants to private, nonprofit entities shall be given to entities which meet the requirements of this chapter, demonstrate alignment to postsecondary education and South Dakota workforce needs, and include plans for sustainability. The grant conditions in subdivisions (9) and (10) of § 24:10:47:07 do not apply to these entities. Grant funds awarded to these entities may not be used for training programs for adult basic education, English learners, or high school eguivalency.
