24:14:14:20Timelines for hearing.

The department shall ensure that no later than 30 days after the expiration of the 30-day period under § 24:14:14:16.16 or adjusted time period described in § 24:14:14:16.18, a final decision is reached on the hearing and a copy of the decision is mailed to each of the parties. A hearing officer may grant specific extensions of time beyond the periods set out in this section at the request of either party.
