A performing artist permit is issued to an applicant who: (1) Holds a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent; (2) Has a minimum of five years of occupational experience in the performing arts areas listed in § 24:28:09:09 in which the permit is requested; and (3) Submits an intent to employ form from the employing public or department-accredited school pursuant to § 24:28:09:11.
