To obtain a career and technical education (CTE) alternative certification, the applicant shall: (1) Have a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education; (2) Have a qualifying offer of employment from a school district or department-accredited school pursuant to § 24:28:12:08; and (3) Have one of the following for each requested endorsement area: (a) An associate of applied science degree or higher; (b) Four thousand hours of validated work experience within the previous five years; (c) Hold a national certification or state license; (d) Pass the state-designated content test; or (e) Complete the state-designated coursework.
