To obtain an administrator alternative certification, the applicant must: (1) Hold: (a) A valid professional or advanced teaching certificate; or (b) A valid education specialist certificate issued upon completion of an educator preparation program; (2) Have a qualifying offer of employment from a school district or department-accredited school pursuant to § 24:28:15:11; and (3) Submit a professional development plan identifying how the applicant intends to meet the requirements of § 24:28:15:09 or 24:28:15:10.
