requiring pedagogy test and coursework. For an individual who has completed a secondary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are: (1) Kindergarten through grade twelve classroom technology; (2) Kindergarten through grade twelve distance educator; (3) Elementary deaf or hearing-impaired education; (4) Elementary blind or visually-impaired education; and (5) Elementary South Dakota Indian studies. Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
