with restrictions. When restrictions apply to an object being deaccessioned, the museum shall act as follows: (1) Mandatory restrictions shall be strictly observed unless deviation from their terms is authorized by the donor or by a court of competent jurisdiction; (2) Objects to which precatory restrictions apply may be disposed of after efforts are made to comply with the restricting conditions.
