certification exams for education specialist candidates. Each approved education program for the preparation of education specialist candidates shall measure a candidate's content and pedagogical knowledge as required by §§ 24:53:11:06 and 24:53:11:07. Each applicant must achieve the established passing scores set by the state Board of Education Standards, when required, in order to be recommended for certification to the department.
