The accountability system must include multiple indicators of public school performance in advancing student learning and in improving instruction and school leadership. The department shall calculate school performance index (SPI) key indicator scores for each public school for each school year, with each key indicator assigned a maximum value according to this chapter. The department shall calculate a total SPI score for each public school, with one-hundred points being the maximum value.
