shooter permit. The secretary may issue a designated shooter permit to a person who is blind or visually impaired. A designated shooter permit authorizes the permittee to designate one shooter to legally hunt, take, or kill game animals while in the immediate physical presence of the permittee. This non-transferable permit is in addition to any required hunting license and may be issued for a period of time not to exceed four consecutive years beginning on the date the permit is issued.
