program. A local family support program provides services, supports, and other assistance through a coordinator to a participant who has a developmental disability and lives in a home. Services, supports, and other assistance available under the local family support program include: (1) Providing information and referral to other available resources as needed; (2) Providing service coordination; (3) Providing advocacy services; and (4) Providing financial assistance to purchase supports and services that are included in the ISP and approved by the division.
