46:30:11:02Eligibility criteria.

To be eligible for devices through the hearing aid assistance program, an individual shall meet the following criteria: (1) Be a resident of South Dakota; (2) Be under 19 years of age; (3) Have a progressive or permanent hearing loss which requires hearing aids; (4) Have a household income at or below 400% of the federal poverty level; and (5) Have not received a hearing aid from the program or through Medicaid within three years prior to the date of application.
