The executive director at any time may publicly announce an ending date for an instant game by posting notice at each of the lottery validation centers and publishing notice in the South Dakota Register. No further tickets in that game may be sold after the ending date. An instant game may be ended by the executive director because of marketing conditions or security breaches.
