All money collected from the adjutant general club and charter members shall be deposited into a special trust account with the state treasurer. The funds on deposit shall be invested by the South Dakota investment council. The fund may be used for the operation and maintenance of the South Dakota national guard museum and its annexes. Prorated earnings shall be credited to the fund.
