for plans and specifications -- New construction. All plans and specifications for new construction shall be in accordance with the International Building Code, 2015 edition; the International Fire Code, 2015 edition; the International Mechanical Code, 2015 edition, and referenced standards, except as modified, amended, or deleted in this chapter. The cover sheet shall clearly state the occupancy group, division, and building type. Failure to designate these is cause for rejection of the plans.
