64:28:07:03Disposition of the original title when a

duplicate title is issued. When a lost original certificate of title for which a duplicate certificate of title was issued is found, the original title shall be forwarded to the Department of Revenue and Regulation, Division of Motor Vehicles, 445 E. Capitol, Pierre, South Dakota, 57501-3100.
