Conditions for exclusion. If an individual is temporarily absent from the home, the home may be excluded under the following conditions: (1) The individual intends to return to the home on a specific date; (2) The individual agrees to immediately inform the department when and if the individual's intentions to return to the home change; and (3) The absence will not exceed one year unless the department specifically authorizes a longer period of time.
