The minimum level of participation for required work activities is as follows: TYPE OF HOUSEHOLD WORK REQUIREMENT One-parent household that has a child under the age of six 20 hours a week One-parent household that has a child or children over the age of six 30 hours a week Two-parent household that does not receive financial assistance for child care services under article 67:47 35 hours a week Two-parent household that receives financial assistance for child care services under article 67:47 55 hours a week A two-parent household that includes a parent who is exempt from participating in work activities under subdivision 67:10:06:07(3) or (4) is considered to be a one-parent household when determining the number of work hours required under this section. When determining whether a two-parent household has met its required level of participation, the department shall combine the hours worked by each parent.
