activities -- Vocational educational training. Vocational educational training must be approved by the department. Approval is based on the following criteria: (1) The course is consistent with the individual's personal responsibility plan and is directed toward a goal of employment; (2) The individual is attending a full-time curriculum of study or at least 20 hours a week of training as determined by the institution or the training site the individual is attending; (3) The individual is maintaining acceptable attendance and performance as defined by the institution or training site the individual is attending; (4) The job outlook in the local labor market for people who have completed the proposed training is favorable or the participant is willing to relocate; and (5) There is a training slot available from the limited number of slots the department has available for its use.
