67:42:18:06Denial of license.

The licensing agency must deny a kinship foster parent applicant a license if the applicant does not meet the standards for care found in this chapter. Within ninety days after the application is received, the department shall send the applicant a written notice of approval or denial of the license. If the application is denied, the notice must include the reason for the denial. An applicant may reapply after taking corrective action to remediate the reasons for the original denial of the license.
