A vehicle used for transportation of a kinship child may not carry more people than the passenger capacity stated on the label affixed to the vehicle pursuant to 49 C.F.R. §§ 567 and 568 (March 9, 2022) and must be equipped with safety restraints. The kinship foster parent shall identify a safe way to transport a kinship child to appointments and activities.
