In a kinship foster home where care is provided for a child aged four years or younger, any unused electrical outlet within thirty-six inches of the floor must be a tamper-resistant outlet or be covered by an Underwriters Laboratory-approved electrical safety cap. No bare or exposed electrical wires may be present within the home.
