rates payable for family day care provider choosing to care for infants and toddlers and limit the number of children in care to six or less. A family day care provider who chooses to care for infants and toddlers up to age three and limit the number of children in care to six or less may receive a rate of reimbursement that is 25 percent higher than the family day care rates. The maximum rate of reimbursement is available on the department's website: http://dss.sd.gov/childcare/childcareassistance/. The provider must inform the department so the provider's registration certificate may be adjusted to reflect the reduced number of children.
