health services -- Qualifications of a provider. Mental health services must be provided by an individual who meets one of the following requirements: (1) Holds a bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, is licensed as a social worker, and works under the supervision of a qualified mental health professional; (2) Holds a master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work and is licensed or certified as a professional counselor, social worker, or therapist; (3) Holds a doctor's degree in psychology or medicine.
