health services. Payment for home health services is limited to 12 months. Home health services are those medical services necessary to treat the victim of a crime and are provided by a home health agency in response to the attending physician's written orders. The claimant must provide to the department written documentation from either the home health agency or the attending physician that verifies the need for the service.
